Hand And Eye

During my religious studies at the University i took a fancy to mystical Judaism.  This piece is my rendition of a common symbol.  Traditions believe the 'eye' sees all and the hand has the ability to stop negativity.  To place this image above the door is believed to see all that passes through, and to stop evil from entering the home.  Pictured here are my hand, and my eye.  I  put the work in a broken frame.  Years later, as i began to admire Native American spirit, i realized the broken pane outlined a crow, a symbol now very important in my life.
