This piece is highly emotional for me.  It came about in the aftermath of an assault.  It started with the forensic photos and lines cut out from the police report.  Soon, i was rummaging through old letters and pictures pulling out the pain of all my past relations.  It is dark in its nature, but the creation of it was healing.  The ankh necklace that hangs from the bottom broke after the attack.  I believed this was to ensure my healing, as my stitches were able to be removed within 48 hours, to the awe of my doctor.
